WE'RE BACK!!!!!

Layla in the fountains at Coolige Park

Anna Lea picking "fowders" in her pullups and milkin' boots

Wyatt on the kitchen table
Well, I am finally back in the blogging world after some technical difficulties. Here are some pictures of the kids from last month. Layla just turned 4 on May the 3rd and thinks she knows everything! Anna Lea just turned 2 on April 17th, and her current hobbies are picking every flower that she sees and throwing temper tantrums when she can't have juice. Wyatt just turned 1 on May 8th and his latest tricks are walking, repeating "No" from his sisters, and as you can see climbing onto the table! So, never a dull moment around here if you haven't figured that out yet.
Rob has completed his electrical schooling and is now working full time managing rental properties. I have just started my own business as a consultant selling Arbonne! We both love to get out in our beautiful vegetable garden in the evenings when we can and work in it. (Mainly Rob working while I keep Anna Lea from destroying it!) I will put some pictures of it up soon because I am so proud of it. I did pick our first squash yesterday and we had with our supper last night. DELICIOUS!!

More Pictures of Benton Falls Hike

Snack Time!

Had to throw in this funny picture of Shrek that I had taken last month!

9 Months Old!

Our little boy was nine months old yesterday. He continues to be the sweetest thing. He is absolutely no problem to take anywhere. The first pictures were taken today. The others were taken last month.

Our whole family along with Marmee, Pop, Uncle Will, and Smokey (Will's newest dog) went on a hike to Benton Falls last month. Wyatt fell asleep on my shoulders while we were hiking to the falls. Layla and Anna Lea did pretty well. Their favorite part was when we reached the falls and stopped to eat a snack of canned peaches and chocolate teddy bears. Yum!

Good Morning Blue Eyes!

I have to say a big "Thank You" to Carrianna for pulling off this miracle of a picture! Don't be fooled, Rob does LOVE having family pictures made:)

Christmas Part 2 - Wyatt's 1st Christmas Morning!

Layla with her tea set from Santa (who she got a phone call from this year!)

My first Christmas! I love sucking my finger!!

We can't wait to open presents!!!!!
We had Christmas morning at our home and the kids were very excited!! Layla got more dress up things, Anna Lea got a huge foam puzzle, and Wyatt got his first play hammer to bang on different shapes that light up when you hit them. Pop, Marmee, Aunt Katie, and Uncle Will came up to see what all they got after they had opened their presents from us (and Santa). After this we went to Gram and Poppy's to visit more relatives and of course the kids got more presents from great Aunts and Uncles!! We also enjoyed a wonderful Christmas feast of turkey, Gram's world famous dressing, sweet potatoes, and much more!!!

Christmas at Marmee & Pop's

Christmas at Marmee and Pop's

Layla, Anna Lea, and Wyatt had a wonderful Christmas at Marmee and Pop's while Uncle Bob, Aunt Lauren, Eveley, Caleb, Aunt Katie, Aunt Carrianna, and Uncle Will were all there. Great Gram and Poppy also came to give them some presents. They really racked up this year with strollers and babies from Gram and Poppy, dress up clothes from Marmee, blocks and step stools from Pop and Uncle Will, and lots of other cool gifts from the Aunts and Uncles!!

Thanksgiving 09

I don't even want to think about our 3 1/2 hour trip to my family's in Clarksville this past week. It was a nightmare to say the least. I'm not even going to try to explain how bad it was. I will just focus on the fun family time we had while we were there. We picked up Matt and Leah at the airport on our way through Nashville. They are doing well, and excited about life in El Paso, Texas. We arrived at "Grandma and Grandpa's" and had a Thanksgiving meal with all of my family and grandparents! We stayed at my brother John's house a few minutes away and that worked out very nicely. (Thankyou John!) Thursday, we traveled about an hour to Bowling Green, Ky where most of my dad's family lives. We had an awesome meal at Aunt Claudine and Uncle Ricky's home. We got to see several of our aunts and uncles and cousins while we were there. That evening we had pizza and played a fun game at John's house while the kids ran wild! Friday morning I was able to go shopping (not too early) with my mom and sisters -- with NO KIDS! (Thank you Rob!) We started the morning off right with a quick stop at Starbucks for a peppermint mocha latte' and then commenced to shopping! After shopping for a while we ate lunch together at O' Charley's. We had a good time visiting together. Later that afternoon the little ones "helped" Grandma decorate her Christmas tree. We left about 7pm so that the kids would sleep on the way home. That was the plan in our head at least... Since all three of our children have had a cold, sinus infection, or ear infection recently they all kept coughing and waking each other up on our wonderful drive home. I had never been happier to get home in all my life!!!
